Dear Birthparents:

We are Chuck and Peggy, a loving married couple who dream of being parents. We have always known we wanted to have children but have faced infertility treatments and miscarriages. However, we feel that we have been very blessed and know that God has a special child to bring into our lives and we can't wait to meet that child and the special birthmother that will bring him/her into the world. We pray God's blessings and peace on you during your journey.
We are both 47 years old and have been happily married for 11 years, and we are both in good health. We met as neighbors at our apartment complex and we have been soul mates from the beginning. We love to travel!! travel!! travel!!. We both love sports and attending sporting events. We enjoy attending Texas Ranger baseball games, The Colonial PGA golf tournament, and most of all Texas Longhorn football games. We love water parks, Disney World, Sea World, Hawaii, cruises and any ocean/beach. We both like to

snow ski, snorkel and hike the mountains in Kauai where we were married. We are pretty much kids at heart ourselves. We are probably most recognized around our neighborhood as "the couple who walks the adorable doggies" (Miniature Yorkshire Terriers, Brandi & Bailey). We also love to cook out in the backyard, sit in the screened-in porch, lay in the backyard hammock and enjoy friends and family. Most of all, we love and enjoy each other. We attend the Church @ Quail Creek and the Pastor's Bible study class. We will raise our child in a loving Christian home.
Message from Peggy: I was raised in White Deer, Texas and was the youngest of 5 children and had a very happy childhood. I lost my father in 1998. However, my mother lives within 5 minutes of our house, and she is a blessing to us and we both enjoy spending time with her. I attended West Texas A&M University for 2 years. I have worked for Utility Engineering for 28 years as an Executive Assistant. My office is within one mile of our home, and there is a very good Lutheran Day Care Center right next door (which is where we plan for our child to attend). I married Chuck in 1995 in Hawaii and I would say that he is the love of my life. He is a good husband (he still opens the car door for me always), and I know that he will be a great Dad.

Message from Chuck: I was born in Amarillo, Texas and have lived here all of my life. I was blessed with wonderful parents, 2 brothers and a sister. I attended Amarillo College and the University of Texas. Since 1984 I have worked in Security at a Government Facility. I love to play golf, basketball and just about any other sport. I lost my mother in 1980 and my dad remarried in 1984 to a wonderful woman named Pat. As Peggy said we were married in Hawaii (Paradise!) in 1995, and it was the happiest day of my life. Peggy is a wonderful wife, companion, and caregiver, and I know she will be a great mother. She is always doing something around the house, planting flowers, painting, etc. I would say that she makes our house feel like a home.
Our home is in Amarillo, Texas. It's in a very nice neighborhood with lots of trees, young families with young children, and a park/playground nearby. We do lots of home renovation projects and are very proud of our handy work considering we are very amateur craftsmen. We both come from close-knit families who like to laugh, celebrate, and spend time together. Our child will always be surrounded by lots of hugs, kisses, and family. We have grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins awaiting a little bundle of joy they can love and spoil.
We are very excited about becoming parents and plan to be very open with our child about their birthparents and their adoption story. We look forward to sharing with our child's birthparents, visits, photos, letters, and stories. God Bless You.
