Child Welfare Information Gateway offers information on all aspects of adoption for professionals, policy makers and the general public. The Clearinghouse develops and maintains a computerized database of books, journal articles, and other materials on adoption and related topics, conducts database searches, publishes materials on adoption and gives referrals to related services and experts in the field. They also maintain a database of experts knowledgeable in various areas of adoption practice.

The National Adoption Center expands adoption opportunities for children throughout the United States, particularly children with special needs and from minority cultures. Through the Learning Center, adoptive parents and prospective adopters can take an on-line parenting course to expand and enrich their understanding of adoption. The course focuses on parenting skills, especially those needed to raise children with special needs.

CASE provides post-adoption counseling and educational services to families, educators, child welfare staff and mental health providers in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. Insight is dedicated to educating the public, professionals and triad-members about open adoption.
