Buckner offers the opportunity to adopt internationally for families in all 50 states. There are a large number of children in orphanages who could benefit from a loving, nurturing home. Because of conditions in their countries, these children are unlikely to be adopted within their own culture. And when they turn 16, they are often forced to leave the orphanage with little or no vocational or educational skills – and little or no future.
