Domestic Infant Adoption

For families in Texas, the domestic infant adoption program places newborns with Christian couples. Buckner works with birth parents during the pregnancy to determine a plan for the baby’s future. If they make a plan adoption, they choose the adoptive family. Then, with Buckner’s assistance, the birth parents and the adoptive family will begin a relationship and work together to build a plan for the openness for the life of their child. Buckner supports birth parents and the adoptive family through education, counseling and support groups.

Update: Buckner Children and Family services has temporarily suspended receiving applications for its domestic infant adoption program in Dallas/Fort Worth. This is a temporary suspension and will be re-evaluated in six months. We are, however, accepting applications for domestic infant adoption in the following locations:

Amarillo, Beaumont, Longview, Lubbock, Lufkin and Midland

If you are in the Dallas area and interested in adoption, we are still actively recruiting families who are open to adopting through our Foster to Adopt and Waiting Texas Children programs. We are also accepting applications for families who wish to adopt internationally through our affiliate, Dillon International.
